This hand-sewn two-page spread, created from linen and found materials, reflects the bittersweet goodbyes we have to say following graduation. The girl and goat, both symbolic of innocence and companionship, weep together, their tears forming a river. The piece is entirely hand sewn, each thread weaving together the history. Each stitch is an act of care and intention, like the careful way we hold on to memories and relationships as we move forward in life.
