Asha H. Le

Asha is an artist and maker located in Des Moines, Iowa. My Message:

From childhood to adulthood, we journey through life like how we count numbers, incrementally changing and evolving. As the daughter of immigrants, I carried the weight of my family's adversities while pursuing my education, setting an example for my siblings. Art became my outlet, particularly through acrylic painting and jewelry making, reflecting the whimsy of youth and the complexity of emotions. Inspired by my younger siblings' innocence and creativity, my work aims to reconnect with the child within me, encouraging onlookers to embrace their inner child as well, rediscovering the joy of dreaming.
